Rochelle is a versatile guitarist and songstress whose passion is country blues. She wants to share her love and joy with the public of this classic genre of Americana, while also playing her original songs and interpretations of many styles of music. Come join in the adventure as she shares her vast repertoire.
She grew up in and around NYC and started playing folk guitar in the sixties encouraged by the music ircles in Washington Square Park in Greenwich Village, NYC. She has been playing in folk festivals andworkshops since retiring from her job as a social worker in Bergen County, New Jersey in 2002 and moving to the Perkiomen Valley outside of Philadelphia. She quickly discovered that her new home was in the foothills of the Philadelphia Folk Festival, where you can hear her in the campground. She is now playing in street festivals in the neighborhood and hopes to continue the adventure.
